These 12 songs for man choirs has been collected 1932 by Samband Islenskra Karlakóra (SIK, founded 1928) and the 12 songs has been found in the musical works by Sveinbjörn Sveinbjörnsson at IMSLP. The Songs are:
- Lofsöngur (National Anthem of Iceland), librettist: Matthias Jochumsson (1835-1920) First pubished in Lofsöngur í minningu Íslands þúsund ára 1874
- Til stjörnunnar, librettist: Þorsteinn Erlingsson (1858-1914)
- Sumarkveðja, librettist:Páll Ólafsson (1827-1905)
- Ó, fögur er vor fósturjörð, librettit: Jón Thoroddsen (1818-1868)
- Aldamótaljóð, librettist: Hannes Hafstein (1861-1922)
- Töframynd í Atlantsál (Ísland), librettist:Valtýr Guðmundsson (1860-1928) First published in Eimreiðin IX:2, 1903
- Ingólfs minni, librettist: Matthías Jochumsson (1835-1920) First publshed in Eimreiðin V:2, 1899
- Dettifoss. librettist: Kristján Jónsson (1842-1869)
- Fífilbrekka, librettist: Jónas Hallgrímsson (1807-1845)
- Móðurmálið, librettist: Gísli Jónsson (1876-1973)
- Ólafur og álfamær, librettist: Icelandic Folksong
- Þar sem elfan er tær. librettist: Finnbogi Hjálmarsson (1860-1954)
Ralph E., who in May 2014 adapted the songs to Project Runeberg doesn't know the exact title of the work, because he hasn't found the frontpage since the songs of the collection is presented one by one at IMSLP.
This work has been put to Project Runeberg mostly for the music, and because of that the incomplete songtexts haven't been OCR-coded.
