English Translations
There is a great interest from our international audience that
Project Runeberg provide an electronic edition of the English
translation of the Norwegian fairy tales by Asbjørnsen and Moe. For
this, we must still respect the copyright that might belong to the
translator(s). Translations are covered by copyright during the
lifetime of the translator and then for 70 more years (life + 70).
Several translations exist and we will initially have to choose one of
them. Here is the list:
